This cupola has been on Paul Curran's lawn on Highland Street in Milford since the 1940s. It was orginally on the carriage house at the Eben Draper Bancroft mansion on Adin Street. Paul has offered it to the town of Hopedale. The site being considered for it at the moment is the triangle of lawn where Adin Street meets Route 16. If you The fieldstone base extends about two feet above ground level, and the cupola goes up another eight feet beyond that. It has a diameter of about six feet.      Since the paragraph above was written, the cupola was moved.
