The Adin and Lucy Ballou house, built in 1843, shown on its
    original location at the corner of Peace and Hopedale streets
    .

    In 1900, the house was moved to Dutcher Street, and
    Adin Ballou Park was created on the original home site.

    The Adin and Lucy Ballou home was originally located at the corner
    of Hopedale and Peace streets in Hopedale, Massachusetts. In 1900,
    it was moved to 64 Dutcher Street and the original home site was
    developed as Adin Ballou Park.
