Planting Trees, 1981

    . The Boy Scouts were requested to help and you cand see some of them in the photos. The pictures were
    taken by Hopedale historian, Winogene Noyes The six at the top of this page were probably shot looking west
    from the front yard of her home at 93 Dutcher Street. Bradford pears were planted on the west side of Dutcher,
    flowering crab on the east side, and linden on Jones Road. A few dogwoods were planted along Hopedale
    Pond. The last three pictures were taken on Hopedale Street in 1983.

      The committee was active for about three years before it disbanded.
