The end of the Little Red Shop can be seen near the lower right. You can also see the sloping enclosed walkway extending out of it, going toward another shop out of view.Most of the Draper duplexes shown are on Freedom Street, with two of them on Soward Street. Hopedale Pond is in the upper right.

The photos of the Draper Company above, and the first one below the map, were taken by Edwin Darling of 54 Freedom Street. The second one shows the houses that were later moved to Freedom Street and became known as the Seven Sisters. Actually, there were eight houses there, and seven were moved to Freedom Street. One may have been moved a short distance. It’s on the bend of Cemetery Street. The picture at the bottom of this page was found in the collection of Draper photography department negatives at the Bancroft Library.
