The boat launch site for Lake Quinsigamond is on Flint Pond which is separated from Quinsigamond by Route 20. There are two bridges on the road that provide access between the two bodies of water. We used the one that is to the west.
The picture below was taken in Flint Pond. I presume that’s algae. We’ve been on many lakes and rivers but have never seen anything like that before. The water was clear once we got to the bridge.
The pictures above and below show the Route 9 bridge over Lake Quinsigamond. It’s a little over two miles north of Route 20.
