The Sudbury River

DJ wrote, “We got out for a paddle on the Sudbury River in Wayland and Sudbury and the Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, starting where the river goes under Route 20. This huge floodplain is leftover from the glacial Lake Sudbury. We took lunch with us and ate where some conservation land has a landing. 5.74 nautical miles in 3:07:39.” (Lots of stops for pictures, plus one for lunch.)
