The Parklands, 1913

Map by landscape architect, Warren Henry Manning

You'll have to scroll around a lot to see all of this map, but I wanted to have all the small print on
the original map easy to read. Manning worked with Frederick Law Olmstead for nine years. After
establishing his own firm, he did a large number of landscaping projects throughout the country.
In Hopedale, he designed the Parklands and also the yards of a number of the mansions. In
addition to the Parklands, the Town Park, ("Playground") also of Manning's design, is at the lower
    left of the map.
