It seems to me Father’s life was in a way very spectacular. With Uncle Almon Thwing, a brother of Mother’s, he came to Hopedale and started a small business in the little red shop, still standing, m memorial to days long past. Later George and Ebenezer Draper who had married Hannah and Anna Thwing, Mother’s sisters, joined Father, and the little shop did a thriving business.
